OFFSET SLIPFORM PAVERS
Quick-change artists in concrete paving
Concrete mixers are typically used for delivering concrete into the slipform paver’s receiving hopper when paving in offset application. The concrete is transported to the offset mould in a continuous operation either via a slewable charging conveyor or via a slewable feeding auger. Electrically or hydraulically driven vibrators are installed in the mould in accordance with customer specifications. They are capable of compacting concrete material of many different grades uniformly by means of high-frequency vibrations. The paving mould produces the monolithic profile while the slipform paver moves forward, producing a concrete structure of uniform, superior quality and excellent finish.

INSET SLIPFORM PAVERS
Mobile road construction plant
When paving in inset application, the concrete is delivered by trucks and dumped ahead of the slipform paver. It is spread by an excavator or second paver when working with large paving widths. Depending on the paver model used, the material is then distributed evenly across the full paving width by a spreading auger or spreading plough. The robust paving mould slipforms the concrete pavement while travelling over the previously distributed concrete material. Electrical vibrators emitting high-frequency vibrations ensure optimum compaction of the concrete during the slipforming process. Tie bars and dowel bars are inserted into the freshly paved concrete automatically. Last but not least, a finishing beam and super-smoother put the finishing touches to the new pavement.

SIDE FEEDER
Homogeneous distribution of concrete fed from the side
Machine for receiving and delivering concrete when paving carriageway slabs with a slipform paver. The integrated side feeder guarantees smooth delivery of concrete to the slipform paver even with previously laid steel reinforcements.

TEXTURE CURING MACHINES
Optimal structure and protection of concrete surfaces
Travelling on concrete pavements produces noise of different levels and frequencies, depending on the surface texture. Self-propelled texture curing machines are capable of giving concrete surfaces the desired surface texture by applying a broom that lightly brushes the surface. A dispersion is additionally spread on the concrete surface by the integrated spraying system. It prevents premature drying of the concrete surface and edges.
